Our History

  • 1994 - Incorporation of Godavari Pulp and Paper Mills

    Godavari Pulp and Paper Mills was incorporated as a Private Limited Company under the Companies Act 1956 on 8th of November 1994

  • 1997 – Started Production of Kraft Paper

     In the year 1997, GPPML started production of kraft paper with a production capacity of 15 tons per day

  • 2008 – Machine Rebuild

    Over the years, production increased from 15 TPD to 30 TPD and then 60 TPD. In 2008, we increased the production capacity to 125 TPD. We also installed a pulp mill from Kadant.

  • 2014 – Quality Control Enhancement

    GPM upgraded the paper machine to manufacture Machine finish paper with size press & twin wire and installed a QCS (Quality Control System) for online quality monitoring. GPM also installed poly disc filters that enhanced cleaning of wastewater to enable 100% reuse and therefore attaining zero liquid discharge

  • 2018 – Improving Operating Efficiency

    We improved the operating efficiency by installing a 2.2 megawatts captive power plant (CPP) GPM also installed an electrostatic precipitator (ESP), therefore reducing the SPM air emission by 90%

  • 2020 – Company expansion

    GPM installed a new paper machine with a deckle size of 3.65m that has a capacity of 200TPD
